2. The development shall comply with the following requirements of the Conservation Section: c) The Applicant shall submit the following information to ensure a proper record of the subject site is retained by the Planning Authority: i) Survey drawing of the elevation of the entirety of the garden (internal) face of the northern boundary wall, including the lower string course, and of the existing vehicular and pedestrian entrance wall (internal face) within the access laneway to the east of the walled garden (Ref. Apex Drwg. No. 6036). d) The Applicant shall submit the following information for the written approval of the Planning Authority in advance of the works commencing: i) 1:20 drawing of the proposed new opening and lintol arrangement (Gardiner Street Upper), and the proposed extension of the stone walling and capping to accommodate the new opening (as is indicated by a dashed line on drawing GSA-P-150 P1), and details of the new powder coated metal gate ii)Revised elevation drawings of the external facades to the Archive room with further articulation of the blank brick façade beneath the upper band of recessed headers (using a device similar in principle to the blind recessed panels submitted at pre-planning stage) iv) Co-ordination of terminology used by the Architect and Structural Engineer in relation to the Lower Ground Floor and reference to a maximum excavation depth of 1400mm v) Structural Engineers’ Drawing No. J189-OCSC-XX-XX-SK-S-0009, which shall include all information in Section 1 and 2 referred to on Figure 10 on p.17 of Structural Engineers’ Outline Construction & Environmental Management Plan. vi) Final written method statement and detailed drawings for remedial works to, and the underpinning of the historic boundary wall and external staircase (retained) as is noted on p.17 of Structural Engineers’ Outline Construction & Environmental Management Plan. vii) Drawing No. GSA-P-200 P1: Written clarification on how the proposed waterproofing will be installed to the outer face of the new construction, while leaving a gap between it and the historic boundary wall, and how any moisture that passes through the historic wall will be discharged within the construction viii)Revised plan and elevation/section drawings to indicate rainwater disposal/downpipes from the lead gutter between the archive building and historic boundary wall (ref. Drawing Nos. GSA-P-152 P1 Garden Elevation and GSA-P-120 P1 Section AA, and relevant 1:100 plan drawings). Ensure the widths and steps along the lead gutter shall suit the lengths (c.11.5m west wall, c.11.8m + c,7.7m north wall) ix) Landscaping drawing that indicates all existing planting, its significance and any planting/trees that will be removed as part of the temporary works to accommodate the contractors’ compound. The existing plan of the walled garden shall indicate the existing unauthorised parking area (assumed to be temporary) located in the southeast corner of the walled garden, noting that permanent surface car parking within the walled garden is not supported by the Conservation Officers and shall be removed at the end of the construction period. x) 1:20 details of railing details, to demonstrate the junction between the proposed new railing and the existing external stair (to the retained external yard) and the new entrance courtyard, including the junction with the new bow-ended entrance foyer xi)1:20 railing detail along the top of the parapet wall to the reading room block illustrating how it steps down to garden level xii) Survey plan drawing of the long single-storey shed to the north of the Presbytery xiii) 1:20 drawing showing revised (widened) door ope width from Hall G-05 to the garden adjacent to the bow-ended reading room wall – the present width is geometrically challenged in the context of the bow-end xiv) 1: 20 drawing of the enclosure screen to the externally mounted heat pump plant, as this will be visible in the context of the Protected Structure, albeit in the rear yard xv) 1: 20 drawing of the lighting/access control items that require to be wall-mounted on the historic boundary walls/entrances
