5. The development shall comply with the following requirements of the Conservation Section: f) During the course of the development, the applicant shall submit the following for the written approval of the planning authority. (i) An alternative design approach to achieve fire safety at the stair hall at ground floor level. The applicant shall consider less visually intrusive interventions such as a misting system in lieu of the lobby partitions. (ii) A conservation method statement for the lifting and re-bedding of the historic cobbled surface to the integral carriage arch. The original setts, kerbing and granite wheel guides shall be recorded, carefully lifted and reinstated to ensure the historic patina of the integral carriage arch is retained. (vi) Revised drawings to omit the use of an insulated lime plaster and to show the retention of sound historic plasterwork and localised repair of damaged plasterwork on a like-for-like basis.
