Description

PROTECTED STRUCTURE: The development will consist of revisions to the previously approved development (REG REF. 3157/22) to include (a) Replacement of 1 No. internal basement window with a door to suit the existing opening width (b) Provision of reversible fire rated partition required to upgrade existing lath and plaster wall construction in one room which is located beside a fire escape route (c) Provision of replacement construction to upgrade the fire integrity of non-original plasterboard internal wall linings (d) Alterations to the rear lift enclosure design to provide translucent glazed side walls in lieu of clear glazing (e) the removal of 1 No. internal door at basement level (f) Sundry alterations to the installation routes for piped and ducted services to ensure minimal disruption of original fabric (g) Changes to the layout of the former staff room to become a reading room to the rear ground floor (h) provision of a kitchenette to the top floor staff area (i) removal of non-original joinery below ground floor stairs and (j) All associated site works.
