Description
EXPP: The property is our client's family home which they purchased a number of years ago. Permission was granted for a single and first floor extension under planning reference WEB 1934/23. These works are currently being carried out. In the course of the works it has been found that the existing gable render is in poor condition and will need to be removed and the wall re-rendered. We are therefore asking the council to confirm if they agree the re-rendering of the gable wall with a smooth plaster render is exempt from requiring planning permission. We form this view above based on the understanding that it would fall under Section 4(1) (h) of the Planning and Development Act.
