EXPP: PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Opening up works for investigation Purposes. Proposed investigation works are as follows: Area A-Investigation to confirm the condition of the front lightwell/damp ingress. Raised paved area built up adjacent the basement window. Please note This investigation is limited to the external only to examine the infilling of the light well. Area B - Investigation to confirm the condition of the front lower ground under-stairs entrance and existence of blocked up window. Area C - Investigation to confirm the composition of the basement concrete slab. Area D- Investigation to confirm the condition of rear drainage causing water ingress at basement level adjacent the external stairwell. Area E-Investigation of corroded cast iron girder supporting the suspended bridge across the rear light well. Area F-Removal of the duct to the rear window and make good on completion. Area G- Investigation internally to the front and rear wall where dry-lined to assess the effects of long- term water ingress (elevated ground levels to front and blocked drainage to the rear). Area H - 6 no. Pockets to be opened up to this wall to allow for investigations to confirm the composition of the lined surface in the entrance hall. Area I- 1 no. Pocket to be opened up to allow investigation to confirm the condition of the plaster behind the lining paper. Area J-Investigation to cracking behind the paper lined wall at high level above the door. Area K- Investigation to wall where chair rail traces exist. Area L-1 no. Pocket to be opened up to the landing floor to allow investigation of the concealed floor void to determine composition. Floor boards to be removed carefully and carefully replaced to match existing layout. Area M- Investigation of stiffened guarding at 2nd floor level. Area N - 1 no Pocket to be opened up to the ceiling and 1 no. Pocket to the floor to allow for investigation to confirm origin of the upper-level return and floor composition. Area O- 1 no. Pocket to be opened up to the ceiling and 1 no Pocket to the wall to allow for investigation to confirm the condition of the roof where leaking and carry out necessary repairs.
