2. The following requirements of the Planning Authority’s Conservation Section shall be fully complied with in the development: b) Prior to the commencement of the development the applicant shall submit the following for the written approval of the planning authority: i. An itemised schedule of all proposed works with method statements for each aspect of the development. The method statements shall also include specifications for any localised repairs or interventions to historic fabric. ii. A set of drawings showing any changes to electrical services, ensuring that works would not impact on the historic fabric. iii. Detailed Section drawings showing junctions between (a) the stud partition of the proposed phone/internet booth and eastern wall and (b) the cashiers’ desks and western wall/window, the latter of which shall indicate that the works would have no physical impact to internal window architraves/window surround. iv. A floor plan drawing with photographic survey to indicate the existence of any areas of historic floor finish underlying the modern floor covering. Where historic flooring is extant, it shall be revealed and repaired. Areas of modern flooring may be opened up prior to the commencement of the development to allow for investigation and recording under the supervision of the conservation architect. A method statement for the repair of an historic floor shall be submitted for the written approval of the planning authority. Should no historic flooring underlie the modern covering, the applicant shall submit specifications for a new floor covering for the written approval of the planning authority.
