2. The applicant/developer shall comply with the following conditions from the Conservation Section: g) The applicant shall submit the following architectural conservation details/revisions for the written approval of the Planning Authority: (i) Site exemplars for the removal of raking out, cleaning, patch repairs, re-facing and repointing including joint profile of the brick elevations shall be agreed on site with the Conservation Officer prior to works commencing. The proposed method of repointing shall be a wigged joint. (ii) The applicant shall submit details of five recent examples of specialist brick re-pointing works carried out by the proposed contractor on protected structures of similar architectural significance in Dublin and associated references to ensure that the contractor has the requisite expertise for these works.
