Description

15. The developer shall comply with the following requirements of the Air Quality Monitoring & Noise Control Unit of Dublin City Council: a) Prior to the commencement of the development, the final awarded contractor shall submit a Construction Management Plan (CMP). The CMP shall be developed with reference to the Good Practice Guide for Construction and Demolition produced by the Air Quality Monitoring and Noise Control Unit of Dublin City Council. This unit requires that the measures contained in the Air Quality Monitoring and Noise Control Unit’s Good Practice Guide for Construction and Demolition “High Risk” Sites be added to the measures contained in the Construction management Plan. This should be submitted to the Air Quality Monitoring & Noise Control Unit for reviewing before works commence. This unit would note that this site is classified as “High Risk” as outlined within this unit’s good practice guidance document, and as such the measures for high risk sites shall be incorporated. This includes real-time monitoring of air noise and vibration. This unit has incorporated lower levels for action levels when it comes to vibration and would require, in the event that these levels are exceeded or predicted, that residents are notified.
