Description
4. The development shall be revised as follows: a) The applicant shall revise the proposed brick colour of the extension from red to a buff coloured brick. A sample of the proposed brick for the extension as well as mortar joint size and colour shall be submitted for the written approval prior to the commencement of the works on site. b) The proposed extension at ground floor level shall be revised to buff colour brick in lieu of zinc. c) The applicant shall reduce the size of the windows on the top floor of the rear elevation of the proposed extension. The proposed dormer windows should appear wholly part of the roof structure, and cill levels should not drop below the level of the metal capping above the brick, which would contribute to the subservience of the extension to the protected structure. Revised elevations shall be submitted for the written agreement of the Planning Authority. Details of the materials, colours and textures of all the external finishes shall be submitted to the planning authority and agreed in writing with, the planning authority prior to commencement of development. Reason: In the interest of visual amenity.
