5. The applicant shall comply with the following conditions from the Conservation Officer: (ii) The proposed development shall be carried out in accordance with the following: (f) The applicant shall provide a conservation specification and sample of the materials for the proposed roof over the two-storey extension. (g) A methodology for the removal of walls and floors throughout and confirmation of the subsequent mitigating measures, including structural work required. Plans, sections and elevations of the proposed staircase at a scale of 1:50 shall be provided. The applicant shall consider how the legibility of the original footprint may be articulated at lower and upper ground floor as part of this request for a conservation methodology for the proposed work on the proposed staircase. (h) Samples of the proposed wall finish, glazing and roof materials of the extension and proposed wall finish for the guest house. The walls of the extension and guest house shall be rendered in lime render or finished in a manner that is considerably softer than an acrylic. (i) The applicant shall provide an elevation drawing of the proposed window at a scale of 1:20. (j) Existing chimney breasts shall not be covered with fitted joinery. Existing original fireplaces shall be retained in situ, even if the flues have been blocked up. (k)The applicant shall confirm if the cornicing in the second floor room is historic and if found to be historic, it shall remain in situ and the proposed partition walls shall be located beneath the cornicing, as is proposed on the first floor.
