EXPP: HCoA are submitting this on behalf of our clients to clarify the exempted development status of the proposed extension to 35 Rathdown Road, Dublin 7. The scheme proposes to partially demolish part of a later extension to the rear of the property under class 50(b) and re build a new extension under class I exemption. Note that the later extension abuts the neighbours extension of a similar size and age but the party wall between both properties is not to demolished. HCoA seeks clarification on the demolition exemption under class 50(b) for this scheme as it is partially demolishing a building that a joins a neighbouring property.
