8. The following requirements of the Planning Authority’s Conservation Section shall be fully complied within the proposed development: The applicant shall submit the following architectural conservation details/revisions for the written approval of the Planning Authority, prior to the commencement of development: a) Detailed elevation and section drawings of the proposed lightweight partition to block up the doorway between the front and rear rooms. Details on the materials used in the proposed partition shall be provided. The acoustic partition shall be shown to be fully demountable and shall sit fully within the architrave and soffit of the doorway. The existing doors, architraves and door saddle (if extant) shall be retained in situ. No historic joinery shall be removed or damaged. Information on the type and amount of fixings shall be provide for written approval by the planning authority. b) Structural engineering drawings of proposed steelwork in locations where masonry shall be demolished. c) Service drawings for the proposed kitchen showing all MEP services and any impacts on historic fabric including new penetrations. d) 1:20 drawings of the proposed glazed external door to conservatory indicating their high-quality material. e) A method statement for any works required the front site boundary walls/railings to include any mitigation to ensure that historic features and fabric is protected during construction of the front storage structure. f) Where a 600mm nib is to be constructed from salvaged brickwork to demarcate the line of the side elevation of the historic return, it shall be built to English Garden Wall bond and flush pointed with lime mortar. The nib can remain unplastered. g) All presently plastered internal walls and proposed nibs resulting from demolitions shall be lime plastered. Brickwork of formerly plastered walls shall not be exposed for presentation.
