10. The development shall comply with the following requirements of Drainage Planning, Policy and Development Control Section (DPPDC) of Dublin City Council: a) The development shall comply with the Greater Dublin Regional Code of Practice for Drainage Works Version 6.0. b) The development shall incorporate Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in the management of surface water. c) The Developer's submission includes a proposal to construct a soakaway as part of this development. The design and construction of soakaways must comply with the requirements of BRE Digest 365 and CIRIA C753. In accordance with Policy SI24 of the Dublin City Council's Development Plan 2022-2028 all surface water run-off from the new/ extended domestic driveways, repaired/ replacement driveway and vehicular entrance shall be managed through the use of SuDS, ensuring no increase in surface water discharges to the public drainage network. d) Full details of these shall be agreed in writing with DPPDC Section prior to commencement of construction. e) Where a building is being extended and the extension is to be built over or in close proximity to a combined drain, the work should be carried out without endangering the integrity of the drain or limiting access to the drain for the purposes of inspection or maintenance. f) The drainage for the proposed development shall be designed on a completely separate foul and surface water system. g) All private drainage such as, downpipes, gullies, manholes, armstrong junctions, etc. are to be located within the final site boundary. Private drainage is not permitted in public areas, or areas intended to be taken in charge.
