5. The following requirements of the Drainage Division of Dublin City Council shall be complied with: (b) The developer shall submit a surface water management plan, including drawings and a report, directly to the DPPDC Section of Dublin City Council for written approval. These plans shall be submitted prior to the commencement of development, and drainage works shall not commence prior to the issuing of such written approval: (i) The applicant shall demonstrate how nature-based Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) devices are to be incorporated into the management of surface water runoff. The applicant is advised that the revised proposals will be assessed against the criteria set out in Section 9.5.4 and Policy SI22 of the Dublin City Development Plan 2022-2028. (ii) In accordance with Policy SI24 of the Dublin City Council’s Development Plan 2022-2028 all surface water run-off from the new/ extended domestic driveways, repaired/ replacement driveway and vehicular entrance shall be managed through the use of SuDS, ensuring no increase in surface water discharges to the public drainage network. (iii) Full details of these shall be agreed in writing with (DPPDC) Section prior to commencement of construction.
