4. Drainage The developer shall comply with the following drainage requirements: The development shall comply with the Greater Dublin Regional Code of Practice for Drainage Works Version 6.0 (available from www.dublincity.ie Forms and Downloads). The Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) devices proposed for the management of surface water runoff are not acceptable. The applicant shall address how the 4 main categories of benefits of SuDS are to be achieved. These are Water Quantity, Water Quality, Amenity and Biodiversity. An attenuation tank is not considered an appropriate SuDS measure given the context of the development. Full details of these shall be agreed in writing with Drainage Division prior to commencement of construction. The development is to be drained on a completely separate foul and surface water system. All private drainage such as, downpipes, gullies, manholes, armstrong junctions, etc. are to be located within the final site boundary. Private drainage is not permitted in public areas, or areas intended to be taken in charge.
