2. The developer shall comply with the following requirements of the Conservation Section of Dublin City Council; c) Samples of the materials to be used shall be submitted for the written agreement of the Conservation Officer prior to the commencement of the work on site. The applicant shall replace the proposed porcelain paving and concrete kerbing with natural materials such as Wicklow granite for the paving and kerbing to the pathway. It is recommended to install a French drain (with gravels to match the gravels in the centre of the garden) between the house and the planting at the bay window, to mitigate any future damp issues that may arise from locating the planting bed adjacent to the walls of the house.
