2. The applicant shall comply with the following requirements of the Conservation Section: • Prior to the commencement of the development, the applicant shall submit the following for the written approval of the planning authority: (i) A set of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing services drawings to show all required interventions to historic fabric. Drawings shall detail strip out and enabling works and new interventions. (ii) Photographic samples of proposed vent brick/terminals for walls and roof which are required as part of the mechanical and electrical services strategy shall be submitted for the written approval of the planning authority. Materials shall be high quality. (iii) A photographic sample of the proposed manhole cover to be installed as specified by the engineer. (iv) A drawing to show how the external metering kiosk will be screened from view so it does not constitute a visual impact on the Protected Structure. (v) The proposed material for the fascia/soffit and rainwater goods on the security guard’s residence shall be submitted for written approval of the Conservation Officer. PVC shall not be used for the fascia/soffit or rainwater goods. (vi) Following the removal of modern floor coverings from the entrance hall and lobby, a description and detailed photographs of the underlying floor in the location of the proposed glazed doors shall be submitted. A section drawing of the brass plate and box is required to show how the installation will impact on the floor structure below. (vii) A set of reflective ceiling plans showing the condition of the lath and plaster ceilings. Drawings shall be annotated to show the level of repairs to be undertaken. Repairs shall be conducted on a minimum intervention basis. (viii) A sample of the proposed roof lights shall be provided for written approval by the planning authority.
