3. The application shall comply with the following Conservation requirements of the Planning Authority; a) The following information shall be submitted for the written agreement of the Conservation Section in advance of the works commencing: i. Revised drawings that show significantly more primary fabric retained, particularly the structural walls at basement and ground floor. The revised drawings shall be agreed with the Conservation Officer in advance of works commencing. ii. Detailed drawings that illustrate the location of service risers, drainage, water supply and ventilation routes to all bathrooms and kitchens and annotated drawings of the fabric removal that will be required to accommodate these services. The introduction of service risers within significant historic rooms will not be supported if this would result in the compromise of historic features such as decorative cornices etc. and the legibility of the historic rooms. The revised drawings shall be agreed with the Conservation Officer in advance of works commencing. iii. Revised drawings that show the rear windows retained at first floor. The revised drawings shall be agreed with the Conservation Officer in advance of works commencing. iv. Detailed drawings at a scale of 1:5 of the fire upgrade work that will be required to the floor structures, walls and doors. v. The applicant shall provide confirmation that means of escape requirements can be satisfied with the proposed layout. vi. The applicant shall submit revised drawings and a specification to mitigate all noise issues associated with the karaoke café. vii. The applicant shall confirm if any historic floorboards exist at this Protected Structure and shall clarify their direction on the general arrangement drawings.
