2. The developer shall comply with the following requirements of the Conservation Officer of Dublin City Council; a) The applicant shall submit the following architectural conservation details/revisions for the written approval of the Planning Authority prior to the commencement of development: (i) Revised plans and elevations setting the front (south) elevation of the proposed two-storey side extension back in line with that previously permitted under Planning Ref. 3240/22 and the existing extension to No. 18 Castlewood Avenue. (ii) Confirmation of the new sills and cappings, with the preference for good quality Irish granite. (iii) 1:20 drawings of new windows and doors, which shall use the slimmest frame profile as possible to contrast with but complement the special character of the Protected Structure (iv) The extent of plaster to be removed is to be confirmed on marked up drawings, submitted to the Conservation Office. The applicant is to confirm how cold bridging will be addressed, given the possible piecemeal nature of the works to the internal plaster. 1:10 detail drawings demonstrating the impact of the proposed insulating plaster on decorative cornices and historic joinery are to be provided. (v) Confirmation that all rainwater goods will be high quality cast-iron. (vi) Confirmation of the proposed new rooflight which shall be a Conservation Style rooflight with slim sections flush with the slate finish.
