8. Prior to commencement of development, the applicant shall submit the following architectural conservation details/revisions for the written approval of the Planning Authority: (i) 1:10 section detail of the junction between the proposed extension and the historic structure. (ii) Revised drawings omitting the porch from the rear elevation.(at upper ground floor) (iii) Revised drawings which show the retention of the spiral staircase from the Lower Ground Floor to the Upper Ground Floor level. (iv) Revised plans and elevations are to be submitted omitting the stepped levels to the terrace and providing a level surface across its entire area. (v)1:20 drawings of the proposed railings and stairs are to be submitted for approval prior to commencement. The railings should be of high quality and complement the Protected Structure. Reason: In order to protect the amenity, setting and curtilage of the Protected Structure, at 46 Garville Avenue and to ensure that the proposed works are carried out in accordance with best conservation practice.
