7. The applicant shall comply with the following Drainage Department requirements: i)The developer shall comply with the Greater Dublin Regional Code of Practice for Drainage Works Version 6.0 (available from www.dublincity.ie Forms and Downloads). ii) The development shall incorporate Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) in the management of surface water. iii) The design and construction of soakaways must comply with the requirements of BRE Digest 365 and CIRIA C753. iv)In accordance with Policy SI24 of the Dublin City Council’s Development Plan 2022-2028 all surface water run-off from the new/ extended domestic driveways, repaired/ replacement driveway and vehicular entrance shall be managed through the use of SuDS, ensuring no increase in surface water discharges to the public drainage network. Full details of these shall be agreed in writing with Drainage Division prior to commencement of construction. v)The drainage for the proposed development shall be designed on a completely separate foul and surface water system. vi)All private drainage such as, downpipes, gullies, manholes, armstrong junctions, etc. are to be located within the final site boundary. Private drains should not pass through property they do not serve. Reason: In the interest of public health and to ensure a satisfactory standard of development.
