4. Prior to the occupation of the retail unit, the developer/occupier shall obtain the written agreement of the Planning Authority in relation to signage proposals. Any proposals shall have regard to the guidance documents produced by the Planning authority; the Shopfront Design Guide and the Shop Front Design Guidelines for the O’Connell Street Area, and to the provisions of the O’Connell Street Architectural Conservation Area. For the avoidance of doubt, external illumination and projecting signage is not permitted. Reason: in the interests of visual amenity.
