Description

16. Prior to commencement of development, and on appointment of a main contractor, a Construction Management Plan shall be submitted to the planning authority for written agreement. This plan shall provide details of intended construction practice for the development, including traffic management, hours of working, noise management measures and off-site disposal of construction/demolition waste. Cycle parking provision for construction staff during the construction phase should be provided and details included within the revised Construction Management Plan. The plan shall be developed with reference to the Good Practice Guide for Construction and Demolition produced by the Air Quality Monitoring and Noise Control Unit of Dublin City Council. The plan shall include details of the proposed location of any generators to be used during construction works, together with measures to reduce sound levels at the nearest noise sensitive receptors. Reason: In order to safeguard the amenities of adjoining premises, residential amenity, and the general surroundings.
