2. The following requirements of the Drainage Planning, Policy and Development Control Section (DPPDC) shall be complied with: a) The developer shall with the Greater Dublin Regional Code of Practice for Drainage Works Version 6.0. b) The development shall incorporate Sustainable Drainage Systems in the management of surface water. Full details of these shall be agreed in writing with DPPDC Section prior to commencement of construction. c) The applicant shall demonstrate that the development will not have adverse impacts or impede access to a watercourse, floodplain or flood protection and management facilities. d) As the proposed development in situated in a high risk flood zone, the Developer shall ensure that the following items are incorporated into flood management for the proposed development: • Emergency plan for evacuation • Flood resilience of proposed development • Safety of occupants e) The drainage for the proposed development shall be designed on a completely separate foul and surface water system with a combined final connection discharging into Uisce Éireann’s combined sewer system. f) All private drainage such as, downpipes, gullies, manholes, armstrong junctions, etc. are to be located within the final site boundary. Private drainage is not permitted in public areas, or areas intended to be taken in charge.
