Description

SAW / PROTECTED STRUCTURE: In accordance with Part 9 of the Planning & Development Regulations 2011 (as amendeded). The Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland, on behalf of the Courts Service of Ireland, propose development works within the curtilage of the Four Courts, Dublin 7, a protected structure. The Four Courts is included on the record of Protected Structures (Ref. 3999) under the Dublin City Development Plan 2022-2028. The proposed development consists of installation of a 4m x 1.8m banner to the Portico, suspended between the central columns from non-invasive supports at a height of approx. 6.24m above ground level. The banner will be in place for a period of 6 months from February to August 2024. A preliminary examination for Environment Impact Assessment was undertaken for the proposed development. It conclude that as there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the enviroment, an EIA is not required. The above mentioned Environmental Impact Assessment Preliminary Examination if available online on : https://www.gov.ie/en/consultations. Any person may, within 4 weeks from the date of the notice, apply to An Bord Pleanala for a screening determination as to whether the developemnt would be likely to have significant effects on the environment.
