PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Permission was previously granted (Reg. Ref. 2513/18) for a change of use from Tourist Information Office, restaurant and annex exhibition hall to licensed food hall, dining, cultural space and annex banqueting hall. Permission is now sought to vary the permission granted by a) the omission of the single-storey extension for plant to east apse of the main building in lieu of a larger plant room (51.6sq.m.) to rear of former ancillary building; b) provide a new glazed structure to create a winter garden (123sq.m) between the main building and the ancillary building; c) provide an ESB substation to north-eastern boundary of site adjoining Suffolk Street; d) provide a proposed water feature at front entrance to main building and e) carry out minor amendments to landscaping already approved.
