3. The following requirements of the Planning Authority’s Conservation Section shall be fully complied with in the proposed development: (a) The applicant shall submit the following architectural conservation details/revisions for the written approval of the Planning Authority prior to the commencement of development: (i) 1:50 plan drawings of the shared circulation space and access to the Art Workspace demonstrating the partitions do not clash with the window opes to the north elevation. The Proposed Ground Floor Plan (6180-COU-02-00) implies a clash between the proposed new partitions to form fire lobbies and provide the new stepped access to the Art Workspace and windows to the north elevation. (ii) 1:20 plans and elevations of the revised layouts to the eastern bays on ground and first floor demonstrating the impact of the revised partitions on the historic kiln structures. The legibility of these kilns should be retained and any revised layouts should ensure this. Where necessary photographs of the existing structures, cross-referenced to the proposed drawings, are to be provided to facilitate assessment of the works. (iii) 1:50 drawings demonstrating the location of all additional works required to the roof structure are to be provided, accompanied by a methodology and additional largescale details (1:20) of specific interventions to the timber beams and roof trusses are to be submitted to the Conservation Office.
