5. The development hereby permitted shall incorporate the following amendments: a) The building facing Blessington Lane shall be reduced in height to two storeys, containing a maximum of four apartments. A pitched roof may be substituted for the proposed flat roof if required. b) A door shall be provided in the kitchen of apartment 1 and the main bedroom of unit 2 to provide access to the rear open space and fire escape access. Any original fabric displaced as a result of this shall be reused within the development. Revised drawings, plans and particulars showing the above amendments shall be submitted to the planning authority and written agreement obtained prior to commencement of development on the site, and such works shall be fully implemented prior to occupation of the development. Reason: To ensure that the development is in keeping with the character and pattern of development on this constrained mews lane and avoid an over-intensive development on the site, and in the interests of residential amenity.
