5. The method and mix of raking-out re-pointing (to be carried out using a lime mortar) and cleaning shall be agreed in writing by the Planning Authority before re-pointing takes place. Reason: To ensure that the integrity of this protected structure is maintained and that all works are carried out in accordance with best conservation practice.
