11. The developer shall comply with the following conservation requirements of the Planning Department of Dublin City Council a) The Applicant is requested to submit the following information for the written agreement of the Planning Authority in advance of the works commencing: i. Detailed method statement for the careful removal of the existing bridge connection and construction of the new glazed bridge connection between the Malt House (Protected Structure) and No. 1 Grand Canal Quay, and protection of the historic fabric of the Protected Structure below during the construction works. ii. Revised drawings clarifying the inclusion or omission of the sliding timber doors permitted in Reg. Ref. DSDZ3021/21 on the east elevation at ground floor level (indicated in permitted drawings A-14/1 and A-12/1). iii. Revised drawings omitting the proposed glazed enclosure to the entirety of the café terrace (roof and screen walls) and indicating the permitted glazed balustrade (Reg. Ref. DSDZ3021/21). iv. A conservation expert with proven and appropriate expertise shall be employed to design, manage, monitor and implement the works and to ensure adequate protection of the retained and historic fabric during the works. In this regard, all permitted works shall be designed to cause minimum interference to the retained fabric and the curtilage of the Protected Structure.
