Description
2. The developer shall comply with the following conditions from the conservation Officer. (a) The applicant shall submit the following architectural conservation details/revisions for the written approval of the Planning Authority prior to the commencement of development: (i) Method statements for brick repairs, raking and flush lime mortar pointing. Lime mortar shall be NHL 2. (ii) 1:50 elevation drawing of façade showing the quantum and location of brick repairs. The repair of brickwork will be carried out on a minimum intervention basis under the guidance of the conservation architect. (iii) 1:20 drawings are to be provided of each proposed window type to the front and rear elevations based on historically appropriate examples found in the neighbouring area. Details of proposed glazing is also to be provided. (iv) 1:20 elevations and sections of the proposed front door leaf. Door to be based on the original found in the next door property to west. (v) A method statement for the specialist repair of ironwork to front entrance gate, stiles and railings. A 1:20 elevation of the gate to show present condition and proposed repairs.
