The proposal also entails the erection of a new two-storey extension to the rear of the existing building and a new two-storey bay window addition to the front measuring 112 sq. metres in total. The application intends the use of this new floorspace as part of the proposed restaurant, which will then contain 235.24 sq. metres in total and which will accommodate kitchen, storage, dining, food preparation and ancillary bar areas, as well as wash-up activities and a refuse storage facility.
