Description
2. The proposed development shall be amended as follows: a) The hard landscaping/concrete pavement and pea gravel to the front of both properties shall be replaced with a much reduced access path to the garden level doors. This paving shall be of a more suitable material for use to the front of a protected structure such as granite. The remainder of the area shall be a continuation of the proposed mulch bed on either side of the re-instated railing and soft landscaping of the front garden. b) The mulch bed shall include suitable low level planting to further reinforce the separation of both front gardens. c) The bin area shall be moved away from the front railings so that appropriate planting shall be put in place to screen the bin store from Elgin Road and the protected structures. d) The bike racks shall be relocated to be adjacent to the bin store area and shall be suitably screened from both Elgin Road and the protected structures. The applicants shall submit within 3 months of this decision, for the written agreement of the Planning Authority, site plan drawings complying with the above requirements. The revised works shall be completed within 1 year of the final grant of permission. Reason: In the interest of proper planning and sustainable development.
