6. The applicant shall submit the following architectural conservation details/revisions for the written approval of the Planning Authority, prior to the commencement of development: (i) The applicant shall submit 1:20 drawings of the proposed new boundary treatments, indicating the layout and design of the proposed new vehicular and pedestrian gates including the location of proposed electrical service runs and details of any features required for the control of the automation of the proposed gates that shall avoid adverse visual impacts on the gates and railings. (ii) The applicant shall submit a conservation method statement for the proposed repair of the existing boundary railings and stone plinths. It is recommended that the proposed repair works be executed by specialist contractors in accordance with best practice conservation guidelines. Reason: To protect the character of this Protected Structure.
