Description

3. In order to mitigate against the tree removal that has occurred along the western boundary of the site, the applicant shall submit for the written agreement of the planning authority, a tree planting scheme comprising full details of the size, species and location of all trees to be planted. This scheme shall be submitted to and agreed in writing by the Planning Authority the within a period of 6 weeks following the final grant of permission. The scheme shall be implemented in the first planting season following completion of the development, and any trees and shrubs which die or are removed within 3 years of planting shall be replaced in the following planting season. (The landscaping scheme shall have regard to the Guidelines for Open Space Development and Taking in Charge, available from the Parks and Landscape Services Division). Reason: In the interests of amenity, ecology and sustainable development.
