9. The developer shall comply with the following conditions in relation to materials: a) Prior to commencement of development, details of the materials, colours and textures of all external finishes, including samples of the proposed brick, shall be submitted to and agreed in writing by the Planning Authority. d) Having regard to S. 11.5.4 of the planning scheme and objective US6, use of extensive surface render on the Southern Elevation should be reduced very significantly in favour of more durable materials such as brick. While the proposed ‘buildings’ break up the overall bulk of the block successfully the use of render should be reduced while maintaining these separate ‘buildings’. Prior to commencement of development revised drawings and particulars showing the new material shall be submitted to the Planning Authority for written compliance. f) Prior to the commencement of development the proposed gate/entrances/fencing to all ESB substations and bin stores located in Block L shall be redesigned so as to add visual interest to the ground floor elevations. Details of the design, materials, colours and textures of the proposed gate/entrances/fencing shall be submitted to and agreed in writing by the Planning Authority.
