4. The developer shall comply with the following Conservation requirements; b) In advance of the proposed work commencing on site, the applicant shall submit the following information to the Planning Authority for their written agreement: The applicant shall provide a sample of the proposed timber ramp (following treatment) including a sample of the horizontal finish and nosings and a sample of the detailed section (at a scale of 1:1) of the upstand. The applicant shall provide samples of the proposed paint finish for the alcove and the new lift doors. The new paint finish shall be a matt finish to match the historic walls. Should there be any alterations to the proposal, this must be discussed with the CO in advance of works commencing. The CO shall be kept informed of the development of the lift installation through the process. Reason: To respect and protect the architectural character and setting of the subject Protected Structure and its historic environs.
