11. The following requirements of the Engineering Department – Drainage Division shall be strictly adhered to: c) The proposal for the discharge of surface water to the existing public surface sewer is not acceptable. Surface water runoff from the site shall discharge directly to the River Tolka. The developer shall submit a revised drainage layout to the Drainage Division for written approval. Any alternative proposal for surface water discharge shall be agreed with Drainage Division prior to commencement of construction. i) The development shall incorporate Sustainable Drainage Systems in the management of surface water. The proposed Green roof, permeable paving and bio-retention areas shall be implemented in full. Any changes shall be agreed with Drainage Division. Full details of the surface water management plan shall be confirmed in writing with Drainage Division prior to commencement of construction. Reason: In the interest of the proper planning and development of the area.
