EXPP: PRTOTECTED STRUCTURE: Proposed Works: External: Painting: Cast iron fencing using non-rust paint. o Repair and repaint window reveals & sills. Repaint decorative masonry work at front door. Maintenance: Install suitable fixings to the downpipe. Sand, treat and paint the rear timber gate. Replace: Temporary fencing and install adequate barrier and replace with block wall. Replace rotten timber Soffit and Fascia with uPVC. Replace vent covers with cast iron heritage style covers. Install: Glass screen to inner side of existing stair railings Internal: Painting: Repair and repaint skirting boards, coving and architraves. Window frame, reveals & sills to be repaired and repainted. Walls where repair work is necessary. Maintenance: Repair surface defects on internal walls where necessary o Roof strengthening works Replace: Existing ceiling with fire ceiling Replace the existing entrance doors to the apartments for fire rated doors. Install: Carpet on original floorboards. Laminate flooring on original floorboards. Install attic insulation, 300mm Rockwool. Install flat roof insulation, 150mm PIR. Insulation under existing floorboards where fire ceiling is going in. Wireless fire detection and alarm system o Guarding to be installed on first and second floor windows.
