Description

3. The development shall be amended as follows: a) All render finishes shall be replaced with a brick finish; b) The design of the individual bicycle storage areas shall be consolidated into weatherproof, secure structures at locations to be agreed in writing with the planning authority; c) Enhanced defensible / privacy strips for the ground floor terraces adjoining the communal open space of the blocks shall be provided. This should consist of additional planting or hedging across the entirety of each ground floor terrace. d) The balconies at second floor of the southern elevation of Block A shall be appropriately screened to mitigate any potential overlooking of 1A and 1-6 Convent View to the south of the site. Revised drawings showing compliance with the above requirements shall be submitted to, and agreed in writing with, the planning authority prior to commencement of development. Reason: In the interest of visual amenity and to protect the residential amenities of this conservation area.
