Description

The development will consist of material alteration to the main entrance (front), south facing façade onto Mount Street Lower, at ground floor level. The proposed works consist of the removal of an existing glazed panel adjacent to the existing entrance doors on LHS, to accommodate a proposed accessible entrance door to cater for independent access. The proposed accessible glazed entrance door and glazed transom panel above will match the finish of the existing glazed panel and adjacent entrance doors. The accessible entrance door will be power assisted and open outward onto the raised private plaza of Grattan House, protected by proposed door cane guarding adjacent. The proposed works also include new external signage to replace the existing, located above the entrance doors. The existing stone and brick finish to the main entrance are to be retained; no changes proposed. All works inclusive of all associated site works.
