Description

11. The Developer shall comply with the following requirements of the Transportation Planning Division: h) Prior to commencement of development, a revised car parking layout shall be submitted which identifies all spaces to be permanently assigned to car share use. This shall be accompanied by confirmation from a Car Club provider confirming the commitment of a car share scheme for the development and detailing the number of vehicles allocated to the proposed development. The location of the car club parking spaces shall be clearly indicated on the associated drawings i) Prior to commencement of development a car parking management strategy shall be prepared in consultation with and submitted for the written agreement of the Environment & Transportation Department. The strategy shall set out how car parking spaces will be assigned and managed over time. In this regard, it is recommended that control of the car parking spaces be retained by the management company for the purposes of assigning/re-assigning car parking spaces to residents/tenants. Reason: In the interests of orderly development.
