Description

EXPP: (i) Amend the age group category assigned to Room 1 from 0-1 year olds (full day) to 1-2 year olds (full day) which will allow an increase in the permitted number of child spaces in Room 1 from 3 no. to 5 no. places: (ii) Allow the permitted 16 no. full day child spaces in Room 3 to be modified for a daily 3 hour period to contemporaneously provide a 3 hour ECCE sessional service for a total of 22 no. child spaces (the 16 no. full day children plus 6 no. additional children), thereafter reverting to 16 no. full day care child spaces for the remainder of the day as permitted by Part VII of the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Service) Regulations 2016; (iii) Provide 1 no. additional child space in Room 5 to align with revised standards set down at Schedules 6 & 7 contained in the Child Care Act 1991 (Early Years Services) Regulations 2016.
