2. The development shall be revised as follows: a) The proposed vehicular entrance, car parking and associated alterations to the front garden, railings and plinth shall be omitted as they were not included in the notices or description of development. The applicants should submit a further planning application for these alterations and should contact the Conservation Section prior to its submission for guidance. b) The proposed replacement front door shall more closely reflect the existing front door in design and materials and the fan light over shall be maintained. c) The proposed new freestanding wall (for meter boxes) at side of entrance door, perpendicular to main façade shall be omitted. The meter boxes should be rationalised and relocated in a more appropriate location if possible i.e. away from main entrance door e.g. towards the far boundary, below cill height. d) The proposed re-painting of the façade shall be omitted. This brickwork façade has already been inappropriately painted. Any further over-painting of this non-breathable paint layer will hinder future removal in a manner that will not damage the brick substrate. e) The proposed removal of the rear external wall shall be omitted to ensure the original plan form remains legible and to maintain structural integrity i.e. the rear wall at the proposed kitchen / dining area. The desired connection can be achieved via the existing door ope between the existing living room and kitchen which can be increased in size by retaining nibs of rear wall on either side and with a lintol bulkhead above. Prior to commencement of development the applicant shall submit, for written agreement of the planning authority, revised drawings and particulars complying with these requirements. Reason: In the interest of proper planning and sustainable development.
