5. The applicant shall comply with the following Transport Planning Requirements: (iv) Prior to the commencement of the development, the Applicant/developer shall submit a taking in charge drawing to be agreed in writing with the planning authority. The materials in public areas shall be in accordance with the document Construction Standards for Roads and Street Works in Dublin City Council. All works shall be implemented prior to the occupation of the development and shall be carried out at the expense of the applicant/developer. Note: No part of the proposed development shall encroach (either above or below ground level) onto the public areas to be taken in charge. Reason: in the interests of sustainable travel, proper planning and sustainable development and to ensure an adequate standard of development.
