5. The proposed development shall be carried out in accordance with the following requirements of the Council’s Conservation Section: f) The existing brick piers, stone cappings and adjoining rubble stone walls shall be carefully taken down and all sound material protected and set aside for reuse in the new arrangement. Stone coursing and new materials shall match the existing arrangement and be constructed in accordance with best conservation practice. 1:20 drawings of the final oak gates indicating where door-opening mechanisms will be located and all associated rails/guides/controls shall be submitted for the written agreement of the Planning Authority in advance of the works commencing.
