13. The developer shall comply with the following requirements of the Drainage Division of Dublin City Council; (a) The developer shall comply with the Greater Dublin Regional Code of Practice for Drainage Works Version 6.0 (see www.dublincity.ie Forms and Downloads) (b) Records of public surface water sewers are indicative and must be verified on site. (c) The drainage for the proposed development shall be designed on a completely separate foul and surface water system with a combined final connection discharging into Irish Water’s combined sewer system. (d) To minimise the risk of basement flooding, all internal basement drainage must be lifted, via pumping, to a maximum depth of 1.5 metres below ground level before being discharged by gravity from the site to the public sewer. (e) All surface water discharge from this development must be attenuated to two litres per second in accordance Greater Dublin Regional Code of Practice for Drainage Works Version 6.0. (f) An appropriate petrol interceptor shall be installed on the internal drain from the car park. Please refer to section 20 of the Greater Dublin Regional Code of Practice for Drainage Works Version 6.0. (g) The outfall surface water manhole from this development must be constructed in accordance with the Greater Dublin Regional Code of Practice for Drainage Works Version 6.0. (h) All private drainage such as, downpipes, gullies, manholes, armstrong junctions, etc. are to be located within the final site boundary. Private drains should not pass through property they do not serve. (i) The development shall incorporate Sustainable Drainage Systems in the management of surface water, including the green roof as shown on drawing no. P1018 titled “Proposed Roof Plan” dated 16/05/2018, with a minimum requirement of a 2 stage treatment approach. Full details of these shall be agreed in writing with Drainage Division prior to commencement of construction. (j) The landscaping proposals as outlined on drawing C0071 L108 titled “6th Floor Terraces General Arrangement” dated 06/03/2018, including raised and freestanding planters, shall be integrated with the Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems as per the Dublin City Development Plan 2016-2022. (k) There shall be no discharge of trade effluent to Dublin City Council sewers except where a licence is granted by Dublin City Council as required by the Local Government (Water Pollution) Acts, 1977 and 1990. (l) Permanent discharge of groundwater to the drainage network is not permitted. Reason: To ensure a satisfactory standard of development.
