Description

Fell to ground level a group of 5 Poplar trees (G1) situated within a conservation area followed by the replanting of a new avenue of trees. Over mature poplar trees, with unbalanced crowns, previous wind damage and weak unions. These have been shedding very large limbs over the last few years. These are now falling nearer buildings, and residential properties are at risk. Pollarding would lose the amenity value of the trees, and as such is not seen as a viable option for the long term.
