Description
To fell 3 dead trees x 1 dead Acer pseudoplatanus (Sycamore), x 1 dead Crateagus monogyna (Hawthorn), x 1 dead unidentified species. To fell x 1 mature Populus nigra 'Italica' (Lombardy Poplar) approx 25 to 30m tall girth 1m. Substantial hollow cavity to the base of the trunk. When I inserted my tree probe into a hole 1.2m from the base the probe went all the way through to the cambium layer at the other side with no heartwood present - To fell the tree before it becomes hazardous/dangerous. To fell x 1 Acer pseudoplatanus (Sycamore) extremely fire damaged (including the latest fire on Tues 3/9/24). Now burnt through approx. 60% of the trunk at the base - To fell the tree before it becomes hazardous/dangerous.To replant with same species 90/120 or 120/150 feathered whips which are more likely to become established and less likely to be vandalised rather than replacing with standard trees. This area is prone to arson, ASB and vandalism.
