Description
T1 Sycamore standing on the grassed area next to the Estate Office and white farmhouse. Consent sought to remove the tree to ground level as it is in a condition which poses an unacceptable risk to the adjacent property. Our team carried out a thorough aerial inspection of the Sycamore, I attach photographs taken in the tree which I will refer to below. The main stem of the tree is hollow, a tape measure was inserted into the top cavity and the bottom cavity and it extended in around 50cm. The two cavities are joined and the staining on the main stem is caused by water running through the stem and exiting at the lower cavity. The tree has been subject to pollard/reduction work in the past. The pollard points are severely caviated, one of which is a large limb which extends over the adjacent property. The tree continues to drop limbs, two notable limbs have been shed over the past five years.
